I tell stories in moving images, photographs, and books. Some come from real lives. Others begin in worlds of my own.

Stories with a pulse.

I make photo and film that gives people a reason to stop, look closer, and remember what they felt. The work can be quiet, cinematic, funny, or full of movement. It should never feel like a template.

Concept studies only. The archive structure is ready for real project stories, images, and films as they are added.

About Antonio

A life in stories.

I’m Antonio Hugo, a Romanian filmmaker, photographer, and writer based in Southwest Florida. My work moves between personal essays, real lives, and imagined worlds. I like real texture, natural chemistry, and a strong point of view.

A camera and a page offer different ways of looking closer. Alongside my own films and books, I take on selected photo and film commissions, with clear direction and room for people to feel like themselves.

Working method

Simple on purpose.

A simple process keeps decisions clear, direction easy, and the final work ready to use.

  1. 01

    Find the feeling

Tell me the place, the people, the date, and what the work needs to do. That is enough to begin.

  2. 02

    Direct with ease

I make a simple shoot plan and give useful direction without making anyone perform.

  3. 03

    Make it travel

You get photo and film ready for the listing, launch, feed, and memories that matter.

Before you write

What clients usually ask.

Do you travel?

I’m based in Southwest Florida and take select travel projects when the story is the right fit.

Do you shoot photo and film together?

Yes. We can build one clear plan for stills, short-form video, and a film that all feel like the same story.

Can you help if being on camera feels awkward?

Yes. The direction is clear and useful, with enough room for people to act like themselves.

What should I include in my inquiry?

The place, date or timing, people involved, and what you need the work to do are enough to start.

How far ahead should I reach out?

Earlier is always better, especially for weddings, launches, and projects with a fixed date.

Inquire

Let’s make it feel like something.

Choose the kind of project, then give me just the basics. I’ll come back with the right next step.
